    Hi there!

Any chance to get a pdf converter running in the File Navigator?

Thanks and keep up the good work!

    • Can you please specify

      Hello Matthias!

Thanks for the suggestion. Can you please specify your requirement as there are from my point of view some things to consider before realizing it.

A possible realization would allow to drop

( ) a mail and convert SendTo, CopyTo, BlindCopyTo, Subject, Attachment names [NOT the attachments] and the body text

( ) text and convert it

When dropping a mail the file name

( ) should be like the subject name

( ) should be set by the user

When dropping text the file name has to be set by the user.

Should it be possible to allow dropping a mail as an EML file AND as a pdf document (which would hit the user with a dialog to choose each time) or should one feature lockout the other one?

      Waiting for your answers… ;-)

        Hi Rene,

I think the best way would be a direct copy of the whole e-mail. So that means:

        1. Not only the text. It should look the same way, as you print an e-mail, because then there's:
        2. subject
        3. receive date
        4. sent by
        5. sent to
        6. text

        7. The Filename should be the subject.

Maybe it should be possible to enable a popup box, if users want to edit each filename?

        8. EML or PDF - let this decision be part of the preferences. Actually you can choose:

When dropping a mail document create

x an EML file or x a link file

How about a third option "x a PDF file"?

          Kind regards,

          Mathias
