    • Found one Bug

By ajay x mali 2 decades ago

      Hi Mike,

This is Ajay. Its very good for creation menus on hotspot. I downloaded your appplication and trying to use. I found one issue that whenever I click on any menu and goes to sub-menu the arrow cursor changes to hour glass cursor. Hour glass cursor indicates busy process in windows environment. Is there any process is going on simultaneusly, when we are using this API. <br/>

Please let me know your comments on this issue.

      Thanks !!

      Regards

      Ajay B Mali

              Hi Mike,

I have search on the other links regardingg this win32 menu. I have found one link which also gives one sample database. I have downloaded and test it. It works perfectly. When I open database in designer, everything written in agent. when I copied agent code and written on button event, It giving the same problem as I mention in my earlier response.

              Link found >>

I just want to know the what makes difference, when we are calling API function on button event or throught agent

              Waiting for your reply

              • Agent vs. Action

By Michael Kinder 2 decades ago

Not certain why it makes a difference, but it does seem to. You could easily make your action call an agent and see if it matters. In addition, some of this might be because of the document connection. Let me review the code again - see if there is any glaring issues. Wrote the code back in 2000 and have made few modifications.
