Planned Enhancements for NotesReconn

Over the next few weeks I'll be looking into some simple improvements to the email and scheduling capabilities of NotesReconn. The three main things that I aim to improve:

1. Email Report (notes client) - currently emails are only sent to the report owners. I want to add a new area in the report profile for default recipients of the report. The Email Report function will prompt to send the report to either the default recipients, custom recipients (which may then be added via dialog), or both.

2. Scheduled Reporting & Emails - add the ability to auto email a scheduled report out to the default email recipients.

3. Improve the format of the email that is sent to the recipients and allow customisation of the email subject and body

I will also be exploring emailing cabability via the NotesReconn web frontend.

If there is anyone out there with some further suggestions on what they would like to see incorporated into this area of NotesReconn please let us know and we will try to accommodate it.

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
