• Great Job on the 6.5.3 Version!

By Tom Bloomquist 2 decades ago

I'm glad I waited. Good professional job and the rich functionality is appreciated! I woul dlike two features to make it even better: calendar claen agent from Notes 7 and the To:, cc:, bcc: flags.

I have to say the killer feature is the integrated contacts. I share my mail between two machine and it's a PITA to keep the names.nsf files. Contacts in the basic mail file solved that for me.

    Thanks again, Tom

What specifically are you looking for with the To:, cc: and bcc: stuff?

Bruce, I would like the To:, cc:, etc. to be in the Inbox View. That way I can see which mail is for me verses copied to me.

It looks like the CalClean code may be in the TEmplate. It's not showing up in the Calendar Tools pull down. I don't see it in the Actions menu either.

        Thanks, Tom

I think Ben had both pieces of code in 1.5.8 of his International code. Not sure. I may have been one of the other releases after 1.5.4

The "To:" "cc:" thing is in the code as Bruce pointed out.

Ensure you have the "Sent Type" feature enabled within the Additional Settings in mail preferences.

The calendar cleanup was in some earlier templates but I'm not too happy with it. It doesn't quite work properly in my opinion and as it's just Lotus Beta code I pulled it from this release. We like everything to work properly :O)

            Hope that answers the query.

            Cheers,

            Ben

I have those items checked but it isn't working on my Notes client. I'm running Notes 7 beta so that may be the issue. Let's see how it works with the next Notes 7 beta drop. I don't think it is worth troubleshooting a beta code product.

              • Tom - it should work on Notes 7

By Bruce Elgort/NotesOSS 2 decades ago

I am running it on Notes 7 and it is working fine. Be sure that your Inbox design element is being updated by the template. Possibly you may have it checked to prohibit a design replace.

All know problems are fixed in the forthcoming 6.5.3OF1 release.

Try creating a new database from the template and verify that all works correctly on your machine. Then you can look into why the design replace isn't working on your machine…

        • It is there.....

To turn it on look under the Additional Settings tap on the lower right :-). You can see it in the screen shot on my blog as well.
