• authority

Hi, I'm trying to install and I'm getting "you are not authorized to perform that function" while creating the db's from the Index and Journal templates. Anyone else get this? Any ideas on what I'm missing for authority…I thought I had it all.

    Thanks

Has anyone found the solution to this yet? I am getting the same error…but only for the Index and Journal DB's. Thanks!

I ran into the same thing. Use the template locally then create the database. Something with the template running off the server is causing this action.

This is due to the lack of a personal profile. The lack of an installer magnifies the problem.

On your Workspace select the database without opening it. Then from the Actions menu select "Tools\Edit Database Profile". Do your setup. Then save that, and again, without opening the database select "Tools\Edit Preferences".

EACH USER should edit preferences before attempting to use the program.
