On the iPhone and iPad, you can simply write an email address or phone number in several formats, and it would be clickable to send an email or make a call. I just completed and put in production a nice mobile app of an address book with employees contact information. I assumed that the phone numbers and email addresses would be clickable (since it works in the Note app, browsers, and just about anywhere else), but it doesn't. Is this expected behavior?

I should note that the site is using SSL, although, I don't believe that could make a difference.
