Domino with MailScan 1.0b crashing on linux

Hi all
we have been using MailScan 1.0b + ClamAV with Domino on linux SLES 9 for about one year without problem.
Suddenly we started to face domino crashes, and after some error and trial we realized that mailscan was the problem. Basically we started to exclude one by one some critical services until we found out that excluding the external addin related to mailscan our problem disappeared.
As soon we restart server including MailScan, Domino runs some 5 minutes and then crashes.
We started to have this issue with Domino 6.5.4, and the issue still remains even after upgrading to Domino 7.0.2 FP2
Can anyone help us to understand what's going on and to find a solution to this problem?
