I had been searching for a innovative web view for images and found your project. I have something that might help you. I was sent a bit of Java (I don't do java myself) that will take an image an turn it into a thumbnail size jpg. I was sent that code by a contact I had with another developer through Notes.net. I haven't found his information yet but If your interested in the code, you can contact me at lotusnotes@comcast.net and I'll do some further looking through my email.
