This was originally designed to act as a repository for application test plans. The test record is categorised by version and one or more values for change reference, problem reference, keywords and references to forms, views, script libraries and field values.
The test document has a rich text field into which will go a dynamic table which allows you to define user input, expected result and comments for each step required to define an application test.
It contains only limited workflow, tests are created with a status of 'Draft', these are then published, tests can also have a status of 'Superseded' if the functionality that a test applies is no longer used or where the test recreates a defect that has been subsequently resolved.
It is usable as a basic library in its current state but I have plenty of ideas to improve usability. The intention is also to add web functionality. |
