Description Submits very quick and simple SPAM-Mails to Blacklists (DNSBL) In Catalog
No

This application contains an agent that exports the complete header of any marked (SPAM-) Mail in the mail database and submit it to DNS-Blacklists. The first version works with the Blacklist "SPAMCOP" (www.spamcop.net).

This quick and easy application makes all mail users able to report their SPAM-mails directly to the Blacklist. Instead of deleting the mails only, they will mark the mails and run this agent. All handled mails will be moved automatically to the JunkMail folder. The normal way is very difficult, because the Blacklists need all data from the mail header as plain text.

After submitting SPAMCOP will send an info to any abuse email of the related internet providers (if abuse is available) and put the sender-IP (in some cases) on their blacklists. The blacklist management is very complex, so there are some rules to get an IP-address on it. Mainly it depends on the count of SPAM from each address.
To learn more about the SCBL see the following link:
http://forum.spamcop.net/scwik/SpamCopBlockingList

To run and work with this agent, you must do the following steps:

1. Sign up on http://www.spamcop.net and get your individual e-Mail-address
f.e.: "submit.XXXXXXXXXXX@spam.spamcop.net"
2. Set this address in the sub sendMail as SendTo-value
3. Copy this agent to your mail file (or template)
4. Mark your spam-mails and run the agent from the actions menu
5. Set the Blacklists "bl.spamcop.net" and "xbl.spamcop.net" to your configuraton
Document in the domino directory (Router/SMTP -> Restrictions&Controls ->
SMTP inbound controls -> DNS Blacklist sites) to reject the submitted SPAM

Please make sure that the submit-time ist very short. This means, that if you get
SPAM, you should submit it very quick to prevent your inboxes (and the inboxes of other users!)
of more SPAM. SPAMCOP ignores reports for email received more than one week ago.

Please be sure that you only submit SPAM! If you use this way for legal mails, your account
may be disabled by spamcop. There are very strong laws for legal emails, so it
is very easy to find out real SPAM

This agent was tested with Lotus Notes Version 8.0.1 and should run with version 6.0 and later.

Projects can have short and readable URLs, e.g. http://mobilecontrols.openntf.org.

You can request a short URL to your project by sending a mail to support at openntf dot org. Put the word 'OpenNTF' somewhere in the subject.
Owners are the people with maximal rights. For example they can create releases and add more contributors.

In order to define multiple owners use "," (comma) as separator.

Because of data privacy you cannot lookup other people's names but you have to type them in.
Enter the contributors or owners here who you want to receive notifications and questions by email.

In addition to the owners additional OpenNTF contributors have to be listed here. Contributors don't have the same access rights as owners, e.g. they cannot create releases.

Enter a short description of the project here (up to 100 characters).

The short description shows up in the project UI and in some of the views.
In this field you should enter a more detailed description of your project.

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
A Catalog Release is for projects that are production ready and that are end-user "install friendly".

This property describes whether any release of this project has been added to the catalog.
