With DomainPatrol you can enhance your productivity, save time and be in control of your Lotus Notes & Domino environment.

* Would your administrators benefit from having a complete inventory of all your databases and agents and the ability to easily find and apply batch changes to them?
* Would your support staff benefit from having documentation including ownership, contact persons and change procedures connected to each application in that inventory?
* Would relations between the business and the IT provider benefit from documented dependencies, agreed change management procedures and responsibility roles for each application?

If you find a positive answer to any of these questions we would be very happy to help you identify how you can use DomainPatrol to solve your specific needs.

You find our contact information on our web at http://domainpatrol.org

This is a 5 minute introduction to DomainPatrol.

DomainPatrol gives you control of all databases, templates, agents, scriptlibraries and aclentries.

Documents responsabilities like owner, developer, administrator and application purpose per database.

DomainPatrol also includes an analysis and reporting tool and a lot of tools to modify database, templates, agents and acls.

- Inventory Databases, Code, Acl
- Document Responsability Roles
- Tool to Analyse & Push Changes

DomainPatrol is designed for you to have control of all databases, templates, agents, scriptlibraries and access control lists to understand who the owners are, what the applications are being used for and who the administrators are! We have taken the concept of catalog.nsf far beyond the administrators imagination.

From that base we added tons of actions that you can run against selected databases, agents, scriptlibraries and aclentries.

Here are a collection of examples of actions that DomainPatrol provides.

Actions that you can run on muli-selected databases at once:
- Modify advanced database properties
- Change DesignTemplateName
- Remove / Create FT-Index
- Add ACLEntry
- Set ACL from saved file
- Set Administration server
- Clear replication history
- Remove empty calendar profile documents

Servercommands you can run on selected databases with options selected in a dialog-box:
- convert
- compact
- fixup

Actions to run on selected ACLentries:
- Change name in ACL
- Change UserType in ACL
- Remove from ACL

Actions to run on selected Agents or Scriptlibraries:
- Remove
- Sign
- Change run server
- Enable / Disable
- Compare code between to agents

As the DomainPatrol database is OpenSource and all actions are developed using lotusscript - you can easily customize any of the actions, add your own or reuse them in some other OpenSource project.

The DomainPatrol database is OpenSource and the workstation-based scanner is licensed as freeware.
You can download the database template here but if you need the scanner goto http://domainpatrol.org

Projects can have short and readable URLs, e.g. http://mobilecontrols.openntf.org.

You can request a short URL to your project by sending a mail to support at openntf dot org. Put the word 'OpenNTF' somewhere in the subject.
Owners are the people with maximal rights. For example they can create releases and add more contributors.

In order to define multiple owners use "," (comma) as separator.

Because of data privacy you cannot lookup other people's names but you have to type them in.
Enter the contributors or owners here who you want to receive notifications and questions by email.

In addition to the owners additional OpenNTF contributors have to be listed here. Contributors don't have the same access rights as owners, e.g. they cannot create releases.

Enter a short description of the project here (up to 100 characters).

The short description shows up in the project UI and in some of the views.
In this field you should enter a more detailed description of your project.

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
A Catalog Release is for projects that are production ready and that are end-user "install friendly".
