The Common View Interface (CVI) Domino database is an implementation of a common approach to navigating through a Domino view based on the ideas of AJAX trend in web design.
The implementation features:
- intuitive navigational interface (inspired by directory/search engine type of Internet web sites) for views with flat/single/multiple hierarchy of categories and consistent display of item counters for each category
- dynamic pagination at every level of the hierarchy
- "go to specific entry" function at every level of the hierarchy
- a number of customizable properties that can be programmatically set/modified
- object-oriented JavaScript coding allows easy reuse of the functionality in Domino (and beyond) application design
The implementation has been tested to work under IE (6.0+) and Firefox (1.0.5+)
