After further review, it was found that a capitalized file extension ( like ".NSF") in the URL causes this problem.  After I narrowed the cause, Philippe Riand confirmed the Ext Lib was looking only for ".nsf" when generating the search pages URL.  A fix was created and I believe this fix is in the current release, but I haven't had a chance to verify it yet.
