How to hide the input text without disabling the value picker

Details
by default value picker is associated w/ the input text or another other component, I would like to hide the component that is associated w/ the value picker w/out disabling it. and I am using the mutipleSeparator for the associated component so that I can select multiple value on the value picker component... any idea??
