Wide dialog boxes in IE8?

Details
All of the dialog box type controls (example value picker) extend all the way to the right of the browser. Basically it is super wide. Looks fine in Firefox and notes client. This seems to be an issue with every dialog box control in the extension library.
Is there anyway to fix this issue?
