If nothing specified ..... All subfolders and .nsf/.ntf files under the data folder in ascending order - e.g. starting with "aaa.ntf" and ending with "www/zzz.nsf"

If folder specified...... All subfolders and .nsf/.ntf files under the specified folder in ascending order - e.g. starting with "networkplace\ccc\aaa.nsf" and ending with ""networkplace\xxx\zzz.nsf"

If DominoDefrag_FTIndex=1, then after a database/template is defragged, the task immediately looks for the existance of a FTINdex folder and defrags its contents - e.g. after defragging "networkplace\ccc\aaa.nsf" looks to defrag of all files and subfolders under the "networkplace\ccc\aaa.ft" folder.

Hope this sheds a bit more light.
