the number of lines to be displayed is controlled by an embedded view, not necessarily by your WebSettings.

So, what to do:
change the form "$$ViewTemplate for D6DailyBlog":
the property of the embedded view "Web Access: lines to display" is set to 16 (template version 2.5.6).
Either set to a number that fits your needs or set to <use default> so that it is controlled by the HTTP-engine settings.
