SmartDrop is an email integration tool for Domino Document Manager. The tool has been around for a few years, well before Lotus offered the functionality with Document Manager.
This tool has a couple of features that the standard integration provided by lotus does not, including running as a background task, replacing files with URL links, and marking documents as saved in Document Manager.
Smartdrop also has the ability to convert your richtext email into an .rtf file so that it can be viewed in any Doc Manager interface.... This is a really usefull feature..
The tool uses the Domino Document Manager API
