Notes Reloaded is the most efficient tool to kill all your Notes, as well as Domino, tasks. It can be expanded to include additional tasks (3rd party tasks) by using the built in process manager, and it also includes a automatic upgrade, which ensures that you run the latest release.
Notes Reloaded can take several parameters as part of its shortcut to the Notes Reloaded .exe file. You can tell it to autostart, to autoclose, as well as whether it should restart the client or server as well. It does also support the stop and restart of servers started as a service.
As you might have understood by now, this also gives you as an administrator a great tool. With ONE click of a button, you can effectively end the Domino service as a task, and restart it as a service. ONE click is all you need. You can combine all parameters the way you need it, and do as I do, create multiple shortcuts to the same single NotesReloaded.exe file and have Notes Reloaded behave different, depending on your needs there and then.

Note: Notes Reloaded has been verified for R4,R5,R6 and is yet to be verified for ND7. Though, you can still use it for both ND7 Client and Server, as the process manager let you add your own tasks (if there are any new in nd7 not added to the default list of Notes Reloaded). Meaning, it supports all versions of ND :) And even better, - there are no installation to be done. Just unzip, and go.
