• Accounts dissapear

By Vidar Svendsen 1 decade ago

My accounts dissapear when I restart the Notes client (running Notes 8.5.3 on Ubuntu 11.04). StatusUpdaterConfig.xml seems to hold all data correctly, it's stored in my users home directory.

Other than this defect - I'm a huge fan of both the WildFire and iWildFire ;)

    • Same defect,ubuntu,Lotus Notes 8.5.2

I have the same defect. Accounts not saved after restart of Lotus Notes.

I did not have the file StatusUpdaterConfig.xml at all saved on my system, so I recieved the file from a colleague, and I tried adding the file to these locations:

      /opt/ibm/lotus/notes/framework/StatusUpdaterConfig.xml
      /opt/ibm/lotus/notes/framework/eclipse/StatusUpdaterConfig.xml
      /opt/ibm/lotus/notes/framework/shared/eclipse/StatusUpdaterConfig.xml
      /home/rfarstad/StatusUpdaterConfig.xml

Then i "chmod 777" the files. But no change.

If I start up Lotus notes from a Terminal window, I can see error messages in the Terminal Window. When trying to add an account in Wildfire, I get the error "Failed to save data"....

        Hi.

What's the point in having the possibility to write in defects here when no response from the developers are given??

Still awaiting response, and fix, to the multiple submitted problem with accounts not being saved....
