WikiCreole is good as far as it goes, but it's a very limited markup language. What are your plans for extending this? One very frequently-used thing is the ability to use an alternate name for wiki links, just like image or http links. It would make sense to use the same symbol and parsing code, just extending it for wiki links.

In addition to this extension, there are a number of other extensions I would love to see (spanning columns in tables is another frequently-used one). Rather than request them all, could you very briefly describe how you plan on adding such extentions–or even if you will do so?
