• missing console messages on Linux

    After upgrading from DOTS 1.6.2 to 2.0 I found that DOTS produced unexpected console output on Linux:

    1. The startup and shutdown messages changed from

    12.10.2011 14:56:09   Domino OSGi Tasklet Container started ( profile DOTS )

     

    13.10.2011 01:45:05   Domino OSGi Tasklet Container terminated ( profile DOTS )

 

to

19.10.2011 09:44:02   33:04

19.10.2011 09:45:46   33:05

 

    2. The output of show tasks just lists a blank line where the dots task used to be.

     

    This does not affect the output of interactive dots commands and scheduled commands. In this regard, everything works as before. So I can use DOTS 2.0 without problems.

     

    I experienced this behaviour on Debian Lenny 32-bit with Domino 8.5.2 FP2  and 8.5.3. On Windows XP, everything is fine.

      The distribution is missing res files on non windows platforms. I will post a new release soon.
