Xpage based Project Management System
When opening the app in the client and clicking thenew Project button, the app throws an error: Database is not full-text indexed. This even occurs, if the database has an up to date FTIndex.
I am new to Xpages, I tried to create a new project I opened the application fron Notes client (not basic) and I received the same message. If the application is (???) only WEB is not clear from the notes..
thanks
Giovanni Vildacci
For reply the error Open the nsf from Notes client
I not have read the secondly test, and sorry for my inattention
I add my personal experience
Well, in your process i cannot see you creating a Fulltext index. You need to create that.
How is your ACL setup?
I have indexed the DB
For the rush I forgot to include this step.
I have attached the DB properties and the ACL
I hope I have given all the necessary Request Information
Hi Giovanni
Try setting Default and Anonymous to No Access to force Login and Authentication. You need to be logged in.
Not OK
I have changed the ACL but I continue to have "DATABSE not fully indexed" and the DB is Indexed
Sorry for incovenience but I curious to see the DB functionality
I use 8.5.3
thank for your assistance
GGiovanni
At this point I cannot reproduce the error. Please advice on how you conduct your test. That is, what version of server are you running!? What version of client are you running!? How is ACL setup.

The removed the Custom control custPeopleSearch from custProject, and suddenly the new project would load. Guessed that this was connected to my Domino Directory, so I tried undoing the edit and added a full-text index to the Domino Directory, and voila - there it was working.
