• ExtLib Demo Database on iPad

By Ingo Weidinger 1 decade ago

    Hi @all,

is it somehow possible to open the ExtLib Demo Database on an iPad (Safari).

It seems that the OneUI CSS is not recognized at all.

With the old "XPages Layout Framework Template" it worked perfect.

    Thanks in advance

    Ingo

That issue will be fixed in the next release, we've had to modify the way that themes are handled for mobile devices. Should be up by tomorrow (30th Aug).

After updating to latest release our mobile applications are rendered differently. They were ignoring background (we use OneUIV2_gold at application level) before, now iPhone application renders with brown gradient background.

      Any thoughts?

So what's happening is that it's now loading the theme for that page which has a golden coloured gradient. This was broken before causing pages that hadn't been designed for mobile devices to fail.

At the moment it will load the mobile theme if the user agent for your device is recognized as a mobile webkit browser and the XPage is prefixed with the string "mobile" (eg http://example.com/XPages.nsf/mobileMain.xsp).

This prefix will be configurable in the next release of the extension library.

        • thanks!

Configurability is always nice to have. Currently we use convention "m" as prefix for mobile pages, so not a big deal :-)
