• Possible Problem

By Remo Linter 2 decades ago

    Hi Martin

I was try out your Tool. When you make a View with Selection Formula in your Test Database where one Column shows @Created, then run your Tool over it and then go and save it in Designer is your Selection Formula still correct after or is SELECT @Created? If not, how possible to correct the Selection Formula in View?

    PS: Fighting with same problem.

    Greetings

    • Formulas in columns

      Hi Remo,

      Thank you for reporting this!

So, basically, you have a column with the value @Created in it, and after importing it, the view selection formula got changed, is that what you mean?

      Greetings,

      Martin

        Hi Martin

        Make View

        Selection Formula (Example)=SELECT Form="Test"

        One Column Formula=@Created

Run your Tool over it to Change the Design with a LN Version < 8.

        Change Selection Formula (Example)=SELECT Form="Test2"

        Save it

        CHECK Selection Formula still correct.

              Hi Remo,

I checked and you're right, you did send me this. Only, I didn't know that it was a fix for 7.0 versions, so at that time I didn't really know what to do with it. Sorry if it seemed like I was neglecting your info.

              Regards,

              Martin
