• Use Theo Heselmans' Profile Doc Restore functionality (just in case)

By Kevin Pettitt 2 decades ago

Note to self: check with Theo regarding his reference to a backup and restore procedure for profile documents made on Andre's blog here: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/bpmpblog.nsf/dx/upsndowns?opendocument&comments

Although using Andre's technique here may avoid the problem: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/bpmpblog.nsf/dx/vanishing-profile

    • profile doc backups

Nevermind the disappearing profile doc problem, it's still nice to be able to roll back changes users have made to a perfectly functioning profile document. We save a normal notes document copy of our main user editable settings profile document every time they save changes to it. And give them the ability to restore any previous version that is still on file. What would be handy is an @IsProfile to match NotesDocument.IsProfile (since we use the same form for the backup and the live one).
