        hi,

this is happening with flash chart as Excel doe not let the choice of the unit.

For the moment, i put "Eur" as "€" does not work.

edit: tested with tahoma, arial and default sans serif, same result.

        bye

        • I will investigate this further

By David Jeyachandran 2 decades ago

I've done a quick search on the support area of amCharts.com. The XML settings file needs to be in UTF-8 format to support international characters so I will see what I can do. Give me a week to try and get this sorted.

If you find any more bugs please post them on the website. Look forward to making Notes Reconn a better application.

          Regards

          David

    • Found a fix for International Characters!

By David Jeyachandran 2 decades ago

I have found the fix for this.

I needed to set the XML to UTF-8 encoding and it seemed that I had set everything correctly. The first line of the XML read as follows…

I also tried Form Properties, content type and this did not help. Just today I noticed the setting called "Character set" in the Form properties, right under the Content Type. I set this to UTF-8 and voila!

I have set this property in the following forms:

      • Chart-xmlSettings
      • xmlChartData

I will include this in the next release. I'll post this next week.
