• User Agent times out....

    Hi,



    i've got a lot of Spam comming through because on about 40% of all Mails, it thorw's this error:



    Router: Execution time limit exceeded by Agent 'SpamAssassin\Check Mail server' in database 'mail\pdahm.nsf'….



    The machine in W32. I've checked that the Java wrapper is started and never returns. The timelimit on agents is 10 minutes, should be more than enough.



    Any ideas where to start?

      spamd is on different machine altogether because initially it was perceived having spamd on same machine as domino was causing the over load.



      it is spamd actually failing to start or finish checking the message.



      have tried changing timeout parameter in notes.ini to more than 5 minutes and also changed to 0(zero) for wait forever and nothing. also about 30-40% of mails are not being checked because of this.



      if it is a load issue then a possible solution would be to have multiple spamd(for those using spamd) servers. will try and report back.

      That is more likely a general SpamAssassin problem rather than anything specific to this SpamAssassin Integration project. You should probably take some of those messages that didn't work and run them through on the command line in debug mode. The logs might tell you what went wrong.
