• Possible to run local in Designer ???

    I have installed the update site in Designer 8.5.3, version 2013-11-25.

    As theme I have entered bootstrapv2.3.1 as demonstrated here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erKa7Gf5qys

    I have enabled the library (org.openntf.xsp.bootstrap.library) on a local DB.

    What I get when opening an XPage is the following error:

    Error 500

 

HTTP Web Server: Command Not Handled Exception

    When I deselect the library the XPage is rendered.

    -> IS IT POSSIBLE TO RUN THE LIBRARY ON A LOCAL DESIGNER CLIENT AND WHICH VERSION SHOULD I USE?

      Hi Patrick!

      Cannot say for 8.5.3 but in 9.0.0/9.0.1 it works after installing the Plugin on the client for XPiNC, too.

      But I believe that this plugin was only designed to work in a 9.0.x environment...

      It is true that the library has been designed, developed and tested with 9.0+. That said, I got some feedback that it works with 8.5.3, but I haven't tried it myself. With the proper error message, I might be able to tell you what's wrong.
