• Log to a mail if LogDB is not present - and make the LogDB as Mail-In-DB

By Norbert Goeth 2 decades ago

I have a problem: my users are working with local replicas - and I don't want to log to each database. My proposal is, that you can enter a mail-address in the INITIALIZE section of OPENLOPGFUNCTIONS. If it is impossible to open the OPENLOG-Database And Logging database is not the actual database or Log-database is the actual database, but the actual user has not appropriate rights to it to create and store documents, the log-document is sent to the mail-in-database address.

You can extend this functionality by an additional agent within the Log-databbase, which deletes some mailing fields.

That would be a large benefit for OpenLOG.

    Thanks and kind regards
