It's not working in the Notes client (8.5.2).

It does not work in the notes client. I got the error :

Invalid expression
Exception:ECL Permission Denied (java.lang.RuntimePermission accessDeclaredMembers)

I check my ECL and enabled all for everything for anonymous and -default-.

Could you maybe fix this?

I have no idea how to work around this, but I asked on my blog if anyone has encountered this error message/how to work around it.

Solved the ECL problem.

I've added this line in the [notesdirectory]\java.policy file :

grant {
permission java.lang.RuntimePermission "accessDeclaredMembers";
};

It works in the client now too.

Oh, and the newest version mails debug and exceptions, maybe you should remove that function? Ferry Kranenburg
