• Installing the library

    Hello all

    I have followed all the instructions and advice for installing the library but still get the following error when trying to look at the demo application:

    Cannot find the library com.ibm.xsp.extlib.library

    I am running 8.5.3 all clients, and a local 8.5.2 FP3 domino server

    I have installed the library on the local server using an updatesite database and have seen all the necessary feature and plugin files being generated when starting the server after setting up the updatesite database

    I have also installed the library in the notes client using the same updatesite on the local server and then manually copied the necessary files into the data\domino\ path with my notes client data folder (as per other posts about installing the library)

    So I am seeking advice on what else I need to look at if possible? This is what I am seeing in the log files when I try to use the demo database via the browser

      Hi David,

      Have you installed the updatesite into your notes client using the Eclipse Update UI ? You will need to do this also so the runtime can register that you have the extension library installed. In Domino Designer, go to File->Preferences ->Domino Designer. Then turn on the check box for "Enable Ecipse plugin install". Now when you go to File->Application, you will see two new options "Install" and "Application Management". Choose search for new features to install. The point to the openNTF update site and install it. You'll be prompted to restart your client. After doing that, it should solve your problem.

        Hi

        when I try to install the extension library, I have the attached exception.

        The file "org.apache.wink.feature_1.1.2.jar" seems to be corrupted...
