• really 8.5.3? ( release CT20130306 )

    I wonder if release CT20130306 is really a 8.5.3 release? Since I get the following error messages:

  • "unknown tag" errors

    Those "unknown tag" errors cropped up the last time you tried it out. Have you tried doing a Clean in Designer? I've found that Designer very frequently rejects the validity of in-DB Java controls like that until it does a real rebuild of its own (even if it did one when opening).

      I ran a cleaning but still the same problems I get registered. Which version of ext- library should I run?

        For mypic error, After clean, you have to build it twice.

          • Outdated version of extlib?

            This error sounds like a problem with an older version of extlib:
            The unknown tag xe:customRestService cannot be used as a complex type

            What version of extlib are you running on your server (and in DDE)?

            • Upgrade Pack 1 (designer,server)

              I guess so but can you confirm what version specific/at least one should run?
