• Deploying ExtLibx for Notes Client 8.5.3

    Folks could someone give me a brief pointer and help with how to deploy the Extension Library for use by the Notes Client 8.5.3. I assumed it was going to be supported via OSGi so installed all that and it didnt work as I expected. I think I have found OSGi only supports HTTP. I am in process of adding XPages to an existing application and want to use more function. I would like it if my end users dont have to take any action and have access to the new functions in the Extensions Library and allow me to update the package as required. I have seen articles on deploying Widgets and Libraries in 8.5.2. , which requires user intervention .

    I would be happy to deploy at the application level if this is possible .

    • Have you considered Desktop policies to automate this??

      Have you considered using desktop policies along with the widget catalog for deploying these libraries to clients?

        Thanks I will look into that.  So its even more complicated ...... so if my reading and Pauls comments its :

        1. Library 
        2. Widget
        3. Desktop policy

        I anybody has an easier way I would be interested
