XPages Extension Library - Feature Request: Make an explicit "selected" property override "page"-based selection in xe:pageTreeNode


It looks like the xe:pageTreeNode looks first to the "selection" property (which makes sense) and then directly goes to page-name matching, only checking "selected" if there's no page specified. This means that, for cases where the page entry selection should be based on something other than just the page name (say, if it should highlight based on the id query-string parameter), you're forced to bump down to xe:basicLeafNode, which is less elegant.
