AJAX Name Picker - Feature Request: suggestions...

Hi Steve

When I saw that you could use multiple address books was hoping that you can provide them as a parameter. For one field you could need to look into one database (and a specific view), for another field into another database(s), etc.

Also what I need and inevestigate to see if it is possible and how easy it is do it by modifing your application is to look in an LDAP directory. It does not seem very complicated but what I want is to provide the database/view as a parameter.

I would also like to make you a suggestion: for retrieving the values you create a collection. If the database is bigger the collection is a little slow and in plus it needs the database to be indexed. I would do it in another way: find the first value in a view based on string entered and returning the next 10-20 values like in a real address book.

hope to see my suggestions in a next release...

In this field you can enter the actual request.

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
