FileSendr Add-on - News: Version 1.1 has been released


 

We noticed that on some occasions it was not possible to detach all files from the mail file.  One would expect that attachments are either attached to the NotesDocument or are part of the Body item.  In some mails none of these two paths give access to the attachments.

We have implemented a new algorithm to access the attachments based on the @attachmentNames formula.

On request of some users we have introduced a new setting in the application profile.  The pseudo sender of the mails generated by the program are either a fixed value (defined in the application profile) or the sender (from item) of the inbound mail.

Upgrade procedure: replace the design of your 1.0 database by the 1.1 template (do not forget to sign the template with a trusted Notes id).  Edit the application profile, configure the new fields and save the profile document.  Verify that the agent is still enabled.



In this field you can enter the actual news.

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
