fileSendr - Discussion: How to set up.

Wondering if we could maybe flesh out the initial setup for others wanting to try this?

Firstly, the first step should really say, "You must have the extension library installed on your server before starting. Directions for 8.5.2 server are here; directions for 8.5.3 server are here...."

Secondly, The help in the word doc says, "When you initially deploy and sign the database on your Domino server the fileSendr application will generate a default configuration as soon as you open the database for the first time, even if you’re not logged in yet. "

I think that that help needs to be clarified as to *how* someone is supposed to be opening it for the first time. Via the Notes client? Via designer? Via a web browser?

 




In this field you can enter the actual discussion topic.

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
