    By yessania chang 1 decade ago

    Can someone tell me how to use the XpagesExt ? my notes version is =>Lotus Notes 8.5.2 FP2

    First, I have to confess that i installed wrong version XpagesExt(853).

    i also try to unstall the 853, but it seems doesn't work.

    I got some error msg when I try to preview Core_Home.XSP, But I don't know how to solve it.

    So, I listed the msg below, if anyone know how to solve it, pls tell me, thanks in advance!!!

    By the way, there are some errors listed in the Script libary , the lib called "CalendarStore.js".

    Does anyone know how to solve it?

    PS.Sorry about my poor english, hope you don't mind it. ^ ^"

      Please specify what exactly you did in attempt to uninstall wrong version. You should look into directory "data\domino\workspace\applications\eclipse" and remove files starting "com.ibm.extlib" and "com.ibm.domino.services" in plugins directory and "com.ibm.xsp.extlib" in features directory.

      Error in CalendarStore.js - the library is of wrong type: SSJS, should be client side JS library.

        <p>
            I am sorry, I was wrong about that CalendarStore.js :-(</p>
        <p>
            It seems you can just ignore the errors, mainly false alarms about dojo object.</p>

    Dear Fero Kossuth

    First of all, thank you for the replying.

    OK, it seems my uninstall procedure was incorrect....^^"

    Actually, I found an article here and I pasted  below. That's the step i did.
    After done the step and  restart the designer, when I go to File, Application, setup...
    I try to reassign the 852 application location, but it shows can't find any information..@@

    So, anyway, I will follow your instruction to uninstall the 853 again.

    You're so nice~~~Thank you very much!!

    with my best regards.

        To uninstall the extension library,<br/>
        in Designer, go to File, Application, Application Management.<br/>
        Toggle open the location Notes\Data\workspace\applications\eclipse<br/>
        Select &quot;Extension library feature&quot;<br/>
        In the page on the right, click on the &quot;Uninstall&quot; link.<br/>
        Click OK to all the dialogs. Wait until the Progress bars finish.<br/>
        Then restart Designer.<br/>

            &nbsp;

            [That extra option in the menu File, Application, Application Management

            only appears once you&#39;ve enabled plugin install, which you would have done to install the library in the first place.

      Thanks.

      But I am not sure you mentioned whether you preview in designer (local) or server. Check both server and client/designer directories.
