At the Lotusphere 2005 Meet the Developers session someone asked whether the developers ever considered adding color coding to calendar entries by category. I am happy to report (as I did during the session) that the soon to be released OpenNTF Mail Template V1.5 has this feature in it.

In the Calendar Preferences http://www.bruceelgort.com/blogs/be.nsf/2/BELT-697VWB/$FILE/calcat.jpg tab a new section was added titled "Category Colors". Here you can define customer color sets the same way you can with your inbox colors. As you can see in the example I set custom colors for my Personal, Hot, and Party categories. Here http://www.bruceelgort.com/blogs/be.nsf/2/BELT-697VVX/$FILE/calcatcolors.jpg you can see the colors being applied to the calendar.

Your feedback is encouraged.

In this field you can enter the actual discussion topic.

You can use the rich text editor for rich text formating. You can also enter HTML to embed objects, e.g. to embed a YouTube video or a screenshot of the project. In this case use '[' and ']' to mark the passthrough HTML as such.

Please note that the first time you use the new UI your description is converted from rich text to MIME. You might want to copy and paste the raw plain text from the old UI in the new UI so that you don't loose information.
