• If i had known.....

    Hi Christian,

Two days ago I released my own password database (open design). There was a request at the German notes-forum www.atnotes.de, so I decided to create a password database - without having a look on OpenNTF…..

Our databases are pretty similar - so they both include some basic ideas (usage company-wide, reader fields, etc. etc.).

I included the following features right now because I discovered 'em in your DB :-)

archiving/ status, $keepprivate - support, hiding password when doc is in view-mode.

Here is the download of my not yet published version: http://www.notes-links.de/cpo/eigenentwicklungen/pw/passwords_v150.zip

The user interface is in English version only - (some source code comment is in German though :-( )

Well, there are some additional features in my database, e.g.

    • "burnt passwords": user can declare a password as 'burnt' so it cannot be used anymore
    • profile documents (not real Notes profile-docs - I use a class for this)
    • Public & secret encryption
    • Random password creator

      and some more…..

Feel free to use some of my ideas to include in your OpenNTF - DB.

      Best regards,

      Michael Woehrer
