I was going to ask Pablo this directly, but I don't have his email addy to write him. So instead I decided that I'd post my question here, since there could be someone else who has done this successfully.

Here's my question:

I'm building an xpages app. Two of the features of this app are Advanced Search, and some simple Reporting. Since Advanced Search results and Reporting results are pretty much identical, I'm combining them - and since I wanted something badass and feature rich, I went with xGrid - but I have one problem, one missing part to this puzzle.

The customer wants to be able to export the results of the search to Excel or CSV; of course CSV is handled by Excel, and since writing it as an CSV is simpler, that's the direction I want to go.

Pablo mentioned in his xGrid PDF that some of the features he wanted to add in a future release of xGrid, such as the ability to export the results to Excel, CSV, PDF. Well, that's exactly what I want. And, in addition to that one, the Group Totals feature would be huge as well.

So, has anyone else modified or extended the xGrid control to have these native jsGrid features? If so, I would really REALLY like to get a clue and finish this ASAP, because this is the last feature for me to finish, and I don't want to push the expected UAT date to slide back (this customer is unforgiving).
