    Create subscription > Two checkboxes are visible but no search phrases/words can be entered by the user.

    Manually running the "Newsletter agent" results in no items found, despite articles summaries in the DB.

      … to be used to create alerts. The form only controls which subjects you'll see when the newsletter comes out. And the newsletter email is set up to grab items from the prior day. That's why you didn't see anything when it ran manually.
