OpenNTF Mail Experience - Defect: Cancelling "Send and File" followed by "Save" queues message for transmission

Release 1.7

The bug reported at http://www.openntf.org/Projects/pmt.nsf/586e8ab410f15d5a85256bae005184c6/ff52d67f2473c5308625704a00457fa9!OpenDocument also applies to Version 1.7 of this mail database.

=====

I am experiencing odd behaviour of mail system when cancelling the "Send and File" function followed by saving the message.

1. I start writing an email message using Lotus Notes as normal by clicking the "New Memo" button.

2. When I am finished writing the email message, I click the "Send and file..." button to send the email and file it in my mail database.

3. Before choosing which folder to store the email message, I want to edit the message further and I click "Cancel".

4. While editing the message further, I want to save the message draft and push [Ctrl] + "S" to do so.

==>> The email message has now been queued for transmission and will be transferred if I don't manually delete this message from the outgoing mail box. I haven't tried this operation on a setup not using a local replica.

When I in step # 3 are clicking "Cancel", I mean to cancel BOTH sending and filing the email message and I suggest that the client code is fixed to reflect that.

I believe that unwanted message transmission is quite annoying, so I have rated this as a high severity bug that needs to be fixed ASAP.
