Little Tool: Notes Links creating Connection Documents automatically

I've been asked where you can find samples how to add logic into Notes mails like buttons to send back certain replies, add calendar entries etc. Since I couldn't find anything I created a new project 'Mail Utilities for Power Users'.

I know many people have implemented buttons that they attach to mails to perform these operations. Would anyone want to contribute these functions to the OpenNTF project?

In the first version I put in a button that creates a connection document automatically so that recipients can open the linked database even initially without connection issues.

Gravatar Image2 - You can also use notes: // (no space between the : and the //) with the server's full DNS name and the database's replica ID (without the colon) in a link and this will automatically create the connection document and open the Notes application at the link, e.g., notes: //test.acme.com/8954736B00161D5C/formname?openForm
