New Sample: Communication Center

Pierre Carlson from IBM has contributed a new project - Communication Center.

The communication center is a Notes (composite) application that allows easy access to several communication/messaging applications, e.g. Twitter, Google Mail, Yahoo Mail, Facebook etc.

All widgets in this application can you single sign on via the Notes credential store.

This application can be personalized via the Composite Application Editor. For example you could delete one of the widgets if you don't need it or add your own Notes mail inbox to it.

When trying to edit with CAE, I have twice experienced a crash followed by a massive looping of internet explorer instances ... between 40 and 70 windows opening within seconds.

Browser is IE6 (yes, yes, I know - but it's still corporate standard with us).
