Having some problems with pictures

Hi all,
I'm working with BlogSphere 2.0. I'm experiencing some problems with pictures in this version:
-I can't select a picture for subalbums. The list to select from is not populated.
-I've typed 'extra text' with some pictures, but that extra text is not visible when the pics are opened in the browser.
Anyone ideas about these? Thanks!
