how to connect to oracle db

Details
I want to connect to Oracle Server from a remote
location. I have all the details such as user name and
password,tnsnames.ora, host string , SID , Port no and
SELECT statement for retrieving data .
The Domino Server also has LEI installed on it .
Please let me know how to go about since I haven't
used LEI earlier in a live environment, so there is no
loss of data .How to do that?
