Save Attachment to Remote System

I am trying to write an agent that will save a file to a network location. This location is mapped to the x drive of the domino server. Dom 6.5
Any tips would be great.
I recently ran into a "Unable to open file" issue on a similar agent and had to save it to the local domino system and then write a batch script to move it. Must be missing something.
