Details
I downloaded the ServletMaid db, and examined the code. Things that are missing (from my point of view):

* Automatically export sources that is not in the default package, i.e. the servlet has a package declaration.

* Automatically use <a href="http://jakarta.apache.org/ant">Apache Ant</a> to build JAR files etc. (or do it in the ServletMaid)

I am today using Ant to do all the work, like compiling, "JAR":ing and copying the JAR to the servlet directory. I have also begun to develop a Java source exporter (in Java), that exports class source from Java agents and libraries to a directory, using the package hierachy (by parsing the source). If this is interesting for your project, please let me know!
